REP. PELOSI: I understand that.
MR. BROKAW: …begins at the point of conception.
REP. PELOSI: I understand. And this is like maybe 50 years or something like that. So again, over the history of the church, this is an issue of controversy.
Just in case anyone has any doubts about what Jesus would say to Rep. Pelosi:
“Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.”
When we think we know better than God we are heading in the wrong direction, away from life itself! So much in our world is turned upside down because we have abandoned the plan of God and accepted what Human Beings accept as true. Look at the world around you, life is valueless unless you are able to produce. Old and Young the most defenseless of society are to be literally thrown out in the garbage lest they impinge on our personal freedom. Our personal freedom and its unrestricted exercise have taken the place of a well ordered life centered in the life of God. What then are we to do? We aren’t allowed to speak out lest we hamper the rights of others, or does it matter. Maybe the time is right to say to the world, snap out of it lest you be destroyed. Indeed Paul pleads with us: “Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.” So let me be very clear here, Life begins at conception, it ends properly when we expire at the end of our days, anything less than that is against the very will of God! So now we must hold ourselves, our families and yes even our Politicians accountable. Indeed we cannot help but face derision and hardship if we accept this but we cannot help but accept it if we are God’s own. We face many decisions in the coming months and must make hard decisions as we seek new leadership in our nation. Do not be swayed by human wisdom but by the very life that comes from God. Do not conform to what you have always done but live according to what Jesus himself has shown us.

why do people think this is a “new idea”? heck, even old Jewish LAW dictates at what point in a pregnancy it is considered murder if a man strikes a woman and she miscarries….
while we may (or may not) disagree with the dating of that, it is certainly not a new idea!!!!!
